Statement

Art and other forms of creativity have been the essence of my existence since I was a child. I spent countless hours copying famous paintings as well as creating original images and sculptures when I was small, as a teenager and a young adult.

The main sources of my inspiration are natural phenomena and the dynamic changes around me that I observe in the rural location I am privilaged to occupate,as well as psychology, various forms of spirituality, science and world affairs. I search for universal truths found in philosophy and different traditions of spirituality, manifested in symbols, archetypes and fantasy. I constantly search for parallels between disciplines.

My creativity is based on giving up control and planning. I let the intuition lead me and the process unfold while it lasts.

I work in oil on canvas or paper, watercolours, soft pastels and variety of other media.
